IRVINE, Calif. – (January 23, 2024) – Sunstone Management, Inc., is proud to announce that Heather Lewis has joined the company as Chief Compliance Officer at our Irvine headquarters.
Ms. Lewis has more than 17 years of experience in ensuring organizations follow stringent state and federal securities laws, most recently at Kairos Investment Management Co. as their chief compliance officer.
“This is a momentous day for Sunstone Management,” said John Keisler, Sunstone’s CEO and managing partner. “We have had strong compliance management with a contracted compliance manager, but having Heather on site full time will provide even closer oversight with a quick result.”
Ms. Lewis has a finance degree from DePaul University and is an active member of the National Society of Compliance Professionals. She said she is passionate about mentoring newcomers, particularly women, in the fields of compliance and finance.

Ms. Lewis has a wealth of expertise in Commercial Real Estate (CRE) and finance, and is widely respected for her in-depth understanding of legislative nuances and financial investments.
At Sunstone, Ms. Lewis will work closely with all departments, but most specifically with the investment, marketing and communications teams. She is part of the executive management team.
