LONG BEACH, Calif.–Built in LA–Sunstone Management, a leading diversified private capital management and investment firm, has been named one of the “100 Best Places to Work in Los Angeles” by Built in Los Angeles. Founded in 2011, Built In Los Angeles is a premier online resource for the local startup and investor community.

In addition to an overall “Best Place to Work,” Sunstone also ranked as one of the “50 Best Small Companies to Work For in Los Angeles” and “50 Companies with the Best Benefits in Los Angeles” lists. Sunstone joins the ranks of many other small – and quickly growing – businesses in the L.A. area devoted to its mission and employee experience.

The “Best Places to Work” and “Best Small Companies” lists rank companies based on the same parameters of employer benefits and employee-submitted compensation data, but “Best Small Companies” focuses in on companies with under 100 employees. “Best Benefits” ranks companies solely on the benefits they offer.

“It is always gratifying to see our hard work pay off in being recognized among such esteemed industry communities,” said John Shen, founding partner of Sunstone Management. “As a small business, we have long said that the secret to success is hiring great people, and upon being recognized for our best practices, we’re hopeful we will attract more assets to our growing firm.”
